Big Brother Naija, BBNaija top finalist, Seyi has publicly apologised to Thelma over comment on her late brother.
It would be recalled that Seyi during a rift with Thelma said her late brother has taken all her glory to the grave.
Thelma said Seyi’s statement about her late brother affected her mum.
She wrote on her Instagram page, ”I love what Tacha said to Seyi, I mean Seyi the grandson of Awolowo, Thanks for speaking Tacha.
‘So many people are acting like they have forgotten, you won’t believe that Seyi’s comment about my late brother affected my mother and I kept mute all these while.”
Speaking with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, official host of BBNaija, Seyi tendered his sincere apologies to Thelma.
He said: “That was the dark side of me when I abused some housemates.
“I did not speak directly to Thelma but I apologize to Thelma for the insult and also to Frodd.”
BBNaija season 4 tagged ‘Pepper Dem’ winner, Mercy Eke has maintained that her love affair with Ike is more than the BBNaija house romance.
When asked about their relationship outside the house, she said: “What I share with Ike is more than BBNaija. It’s bigger”
Mercy gave the answer at a press briefing on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 while revealing her true feelings towards fellow housemate, Ike.
Speaking further, Mercy stressed that the lowest moment in the house was when Ike was evicted in the 13th week after spending a total of 92 days in the BBNaija Pepper Dem house.
“My lowest moment in the BBNaija house was when Ike was evicted and my highest moment was when I was announced the winner of BBNaija 2019 Pepper Dem,” Mercy stated.
While still basking in the euphoria of her victory, Mercy said she was short of words when the host of the show announced her as the winner of Season 4 of BBNaija.
She went on to say she’s grateful for the organisers of the reality TV show and thankful to all the housemates, her family, and fans that stood by her even when she displayed her other side.
“I want to thank the organisers of BBNaija 2019 Pepper Dem season 4, the sponsors, housemates, my fans, and family, who stood by me even when I showed my craze,” she said.
Recently evicted Big Brother Naija 2019 housemate, Khafi Kareem, has debunked rumors that she has been sacked by the Metropolitan Police UK where she worked as an officer before auditioning and getting selected for the reality show.
The 29-year-old disclosed this in an exclusive interview with Sahara Reporters that the authorities of the MET police have not sacked her.
“No action has been taken by the Met Police authorities yet. In fact, they are waiting for me to come back to work. I will travel back to the United Kingdom soon and we would talk about all these things,” she said.
Recall that while Khafi was still in the Big Brother house, the Sun newspaper UK published a story claiming that the Metropolitan Police was embarrassed by her ‘sexcapades’ with Gedoni and are contemplating firing her.
According to the news media, Khafi had allegedly failed to seek formal approval from her organization before going into the BBNaija house for the competition.
Spoiler: “Yahoo Yahoo” is a no no!!
A large majority of Nigerians believe they are more likely to succeed faster if they get into the BBNaija house than they are if they stuck with their university degree or their 9 – 5 job. This is according to recently launched BBNaija report released by Plaqad.com.
According to the report, when asked which they thought offers a better guarantee for success between “Yahoo Yahoo,” a “University Degree and a 9-5 job” or contesting in BBNaija, more than 53% of the respondents voted in favor of BBNaija while 43.6% said a university degree was the fastest and most reliable route to success for young Nigerians.
Only 2% opted for “Yahoo Yahoo” which is not surprising as the people were of the opinion that BB Naija and a University degree are credible and legitimate routes to success (even though a degree is not an assurance of success), but “Yahoo Yahoo” is a crime.
