As the new year gets underway, a host of upstarts are looking to throw their hats in the ring early on and join the conversations of might prove to conquer the year. Enter Leigh Paris, a New York-bred emcee who has offered up his first selection of the year with his catchy “Wood Grain” cut, which sample’s Belizean rapper Shyne’s Barrington Levy-assisted “Bad Boyz” cut.
