R Kelly

According to TMZ, R. Kelly will be going back to court for a second trial in order to get out of jail pending his various trials alleging his health has been compromised behind bars.

In a new legal document filed by R. Kelly’s Lawyer, Steve Greenberg, it outlines his various medical issues, including numbness in one of his hands, anxiety and an untreated hernia.

Greenberg stated the singer is not receiving enough medical attention in the facility and calls the conditions of his detention “stifling.”

“Although he lives and has lived with two lady friends, only one of them is allowed to be on his visiting list, and after 90 days he’s required to switch,” Greenberg said.

The document assured the judge nothing untoward will happen if R. Kelly gets out. His lawyers vow the singer will not interfere with or intimidate witnesses.

They also claim R. Kelly is not a flight risk … he has a passport which does not contain a single stamp showing travel, because he doesn’t really go outside the U.S.The judge is yet to rule on the application.

R. Kelly has been arrested, yet again, this time, for failing to pay over $161k in child support.

TMZ reports that the RnB singer is yet to pay the money he owes his ex wife Drea Kelly for child support

The report stated that Kelly knew, since last month, that he had until March 6th to pay the minimum amount of $161k or be arrested.

R. Kelly arrived the court Wednesday morning, and after the hearing deputies escorted him out of the courtroom, with TMZ saying he’s been arrested.

Cook County Sheriff’s Office tells TMZ that R. Kelly’s headed to jail for failure to pay child support.

Surviving R. Kelly turned the everywhere upside down. Old friends, collaborators, colleagues, and peers have rebuked R. Kelly since the documentary dropped. Although the man’s music catalog isn’t up for debate, his history of manipulating and sexually seducing young women is inexcusable. What makes the accusations even worse is the fact that the media has been poking fun at Kelly’s alleged tendencies for decades. Huey from The Boondocks said it the best (shout out Regina King).

On Friday (January 11), one of R. Kelly’s attorneys, Steve Greenberg, was interviewed by the Associate PressHe claimed that his client denies all allegations of sexual misconduct involving women and underage girls. Kelly is even denying all the allegations from the Surviving R. Kelly docu-series, although neither Kells or his attorney have watched the entire movie. “The allegations aren’t true because he never knowingly had sex with an underage woman, he never forced anyone to do anything, he never held anyone captive, he never abused anyone,” stated Greenberg.“Now, some producer went running around and solicited all these people, did a Jerry Springer-esque show and there is all this uproar. It’s disgusting.” Greenberg is using a similar argument as other attorneys who have defended clients in the recent wave of the #MeToo movement. He is questioning the credibility of the women, the timing of the complaints, and the fact the most of these accusers never notified police or even complained.

American singer, Lady Gaga has offered a public apology for collaborating with R. Kelly who is currently facing a series of sexual allegations.

The 32-year-old singer made the announcement in a statement she posted on Twitter following the recent Lifetime documentary series that chronicles allegations of abuse, predatory behavior, and pedophilia against singer R.Kelly.

In the statement, Gaga who also is a victim of sexual assault after he was sexually assaulted at age 19, revealed that she’s standing by anyone who has ever been the victim of sexual assault and will be removing her 2013 collaboration “Do What U Want” with Kelly from iTunes and streaming services.

R. Kelly is currently being investigated in Fulton County, GA over sexual abuse allegations while police in Chicago are asking victims and witnesses to come forward with stories. The legal troubles for Kellz’ are only beginning to compile right now, the singer has one less legal matter on his plate. According to TMZ, Dallas police have closed their investigation into allegations that R. Kelly gave a woman an STD. Dallas PD began investigating accusations that R. Kelly gave a woman an STD after holding her as a sex slave in 2017. Police decided not to file any charges against R. Kelly, but they’ve yet to reveal why they came to that conclusion.

The woman filed a police report in 2018 accusing R. Kelly of restraining her, feeding her drugs and alcohol and ultimately, giving her an STD. She said that she met Kellz in Dallas in 2017. Despite the police closing their investigation on the case, the woman’s lawyer, Lee Merritt, said that her client plans on filing a civil suit against R. Kelly.

R. Kelly has been in headlines for the past week after Lifetime aired Surviving R. Kelly — a docu-series exploring the numerous allegations of R. Kelly’s sexual abuse towards women over the past two decades including the recent accusations that he’s held women captive for his alleged sex cult.

Can you remember what it looked like when prosecutors and alleged victims began piecing together their cases against Harvey Weinstein and Bill Cosby? The situation that R. Kelly is currently in feels eerily akin to those cases. An outpouring of victims, a passionate outcry from the internet, and a microscope on the entire situation are all factors that have come in to play in cases where we’ve seen celebrities lose their legacy and credibility. As we reported, the Chicago Police Department encouraged anyone with evidence that could lead to the prosecution of Kelly to step forward. “There is nothing more important to CPD than integrity, accountability and the highest of professional standards,” the Chicago Police Department said in a statement. “While we do not have any current complaints of misconduct, we strongly encourage anyone who may have information related to the domestic violence allegations or who suspect or have information about wrongdoing on the part of officers to please contact Internal Affairs or the external Office of Police Accountability or Chicago Inspector General’s Office so these matters can be independently investigated.”

According to TMZ, at least one alleged victim of Kells, and families of two other alleged victims, are planning to bestow the Chicago prosecutors with evidence that they believe will lead to the prosecution of the R&B icon. The media site also reports that Joycelyn Savage and Azriel Clary, two of the ladies living with Kells, are hiring lawyers to stop their parents from attempting to force them to leave Kelly’s house.

R. Kelly is reportedly creating a website to expose all of his accusers.

The R. Kelly story just keeps on getting more and more complicated. This weekend, Twitter absolutely blew up after each episode of Surviving R. Kelly aired. The docu-series focuses on the years of abuse that the singer has been accused of handing out. In each episode, interviews with his accusers are shown and the artist is obviously not pleased with the outcome. Many are calling for him to be blacklisted from the industry, claiming that enough is finally enough. Others are waiting for Kellz to explain himself. Those of you that are putting a pause on cancelling him right away will be interested in learning that R. Kelly is reportedly planning to go down his list of accusers one by one, exposing them all as liars.

According to TMZ, R. Kelly will soon be going live with a website called SurvivingLies.com. As of now, a Facebook page exists under the same name and it seems as though the singer will be going after Asante McGee first. The publication notes that R. Kelly will go down his list of accusers one by one in an attempt to prove that they are all lying about him.

People close to the artist are stating that he will soon be launching the website, which will reveal his accusers’ “true motivations.” With dozens of women speaking out against the singer, he likely has his work cut out for him with this.
